Surgery Overview:
St George Family Mediclinic has been established in Brighton Le Sands for over 20 years. The practice currently has 1 male and 2 female doctors. We are close to Brighton Le-Sands Beach and its Cafe's & restaurants, as well as Rockdale Plaza Shopping Centre. St George public & private hospitals are just over 1km away.
Job Description:
A fulltime doctor would be ideal although we are flexible with days and hours and would be happy to accept a part-time doctor. Remuneration offered will be at competitive market rates and is negotiable.
Surgery Layout:
St George Family Mediclinic has: 4 consultation rooms, a treatment room, procedure room, a large reception area with both a medical & normal TV, kitchen, patient & staff toilets, ramp access and onsite parking for staff and patients.
Clinical Services:
Our clinic provides a full range of family medical care. We also have Skin Cancer services every Thursday as well as a Dietitian and Psychologist once a fortnight. Pathology is located next door and Radiology services are located nearby.
Administration:
Our surgery consulting hours are Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 6.00pm. The working shifts are: 9.00am to 1.00pm and an afternoon shift: 1.30pm to 6.00pm. We usually have 1-2 doctors on each shift. Saturday shifts are negotiable. Patients are seen by both appointments and walk-in's. We are computerised using the Best Practice software.

Treatment Room:
We have a Treatment room and a Procedure room which is equipped for minor surgeries.
Surgery Billing:
We are a Bulk Billing medical practice, but may request additional charges for services such as procedures and completing particular forms.
Circumstances:
St George Family Mediclinic currently has a complement of 2 female GPs and a male GP. Our vacancy arises due to a strong patient demand, particularly for a male GP.
