Surgery Overview:
Northside Health have an opportunity for two permanent GPs to join our existing team, on a Full Time or Part Time basis. We are a patient-centred medical practice that has been providing quality, holistic health care to the Coffs Harbour community for 40 years. Our team of nine integrative & mainstream medical doctors, four nurses and three allied health practitioners are committed to providing the most appropriate evidence-based conventional medicine and complementary treatments available. We are a mixed billing practice. Our practice is located in the Jetty precinct, just a short walk from Coffs Harbour Marina and the beachfront boardwalk, with its harbourside markets.
Job Description:
Northside Health is situated in Coffs Harbour, a city half way between Brisbane and Sydney on the Mid North Coast of NSW with a population of approx. 72,000. Coffs Harbour has a warm subtropical climate. Sydney is only an hour’s flight away with regular daily flights departing Coffs Harbour airport. There are also direct flights to Melbourne. There are many quality Private and Public Schools servicing the City and both Southern Cross University and UNSW have campuses located locally. As well as both a Public and Private Hospital. The emergency Dept of Coffs Harbour Health Campus is the biggest trauma centre located between the Gold Coast and Newcastle. Coffs Harbour is renowned for its great beaches, National Parks, Marine Parks and Nature Reserves. As well as award winning restaurants, fantastic sporting facilities and 3 major shopping centres.
Clinical Services:
Comprehensive healthcare is provided through all of life’s stages from pregnancy and early infancy through adolescence, young adulthood, middle age and advanced years. Our Clinical services include: General Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Acupuncture, Women's Health, Chronic Disease Management, Children's Health, Occupational Health, Mental Wellbeing, Chiropractic, Remedial Massage and Exercise Physiology. We work closely with the local PHN on projects that improve the health outcomes of our patients. Northside Health also has a strong history and commitment to training future generations of doctors from undergraduate students through to Registrars.
