SURGERY OVERVIEW

Oxley Health Care (Managed by Peel Health Care Ltd) is a private billing practice, which opened on 14 July 2014. Our parent surgery (Peel Health Care) is located approximately 5km away in Tamworth and our two medical practices share resources as required.

Peel Health Care (the practice) opened in August 2005 in an effort to address the chronic GP shortage in the area. Due to the need for expansion of their services in 2009, Peel Health Care moved into a purpose built facility at 103 Peel Street Tamworth. It didn’t take long before the 103 Peel Street facility was again running at capacity, by which time Oxley Health Care was well on its way to opening. In 2015 an additional 3 consultation rooms, a dedicated minor ops room and a larger Nursing area were added at Oxley Health Care. Both Peel and Oxley Health Care are managed by Peel Health Care Ltd practice management team. We are a training practice and have 3 GP Registrars as part of our team.
