Toukley Family Practice have a vacancy for a permanent full-time VR or Non-VR GP in our well established medical practice on the Central Coast of NSW.
Toukley Family Practice is located in the coastal town of Toukley, on the northern shores of Tuggerah Lake. Conveniently open 6 days per week, Toukley Family Practice has been serving the local community since 2003. The healthcare team at Toukley Family Practice are committed to providing comprehensive, high quality and multidisciplinary healthcare, individually tailored to the needs of our patients. Our GPA Accredited modern complex provides state of the art facilities for our patients’ comfort. Wheelchair access & disabled parking is provided at both entrances to the complex. Within our Toukley Family Practice complex there is a large treatment room staffed by experienced practice nurses skilled in the delivery of wound care, childhood & adult immunisations, health assessments & pre-employment medicals and who are also equipped to provide our patients with ECG recordings, hearing tests, blood sugar monitoring, INR monitoring and other community care co-ordinating activities. Our practice has 16 consulting rooms, 4 procedure rooms/skin clinics, a 3 bed treatment room, resus room, physiotherapy room. A number of allied health rooms are also located adjacent to the surgery.
Toukley Family Practice have a vacancy for a permanent full-time VR or Non-VR GP. We are not classified as a DPA surgery but have an Area of Need (AON) GP position available until April 2020. The vacancy has arisen due to a number of our GPs cutting back their hours with a view to eventual retirement. We have a large existing patient base with ongoing demand to the extent that our female doctors are currently booked out up to 2 weeks in advance. We can offer a mixed billing practice with plenty of patients, full time nursing support, flexible hours, minimal after hours and great remuneration. The full-time role will include a share of our Saturday roster but no evening commitments.
