The Medical Practice currently bulk bills all patients, except Non-Medicare Card holders, Workers Comp and Insurance matters. We understand the total number of patients treated for the 2017/2018 Financial year was 9360, or an average of 180 patients per week. Revenue for the 12 month period ending 30/4/2018 was approx. $640k and 2019 Financial Year was $616k. The practice has some 2470 active patients on file with an even mix of male and female. Approx 19.6% of patients are Pensioners or HHC holders and .08% are DVA patients.
CLINICAL SERVICES
The clinical services of the practice would best be described as general medicine, but the principal also looks after 2 local nursing homes and the occasional home visit. The practice currently has no allied health, specialist or diagnostic services on site leaving an opportunity to have, pathology, psychologists, audiology or podiatry on site.
ADMINISTRATION
The practice is fully computerised, paperless, and uses Medical Director. It is AGPAL accredited through to Feb 2023. Consulting hours are: Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri (8am – 5.30pm). The practice employs 3 perm part time receptionist, one part time nurse and a practice manager.
