We have a three doctor medical practice for sale in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. It is a doctor owned medical practice that was established in 1985. It has a shop front main road location with ample parking for doctors, staff and patients and public transport on doorstep. Principal is willing to remain at the surgery for three years or more to ensure a smooth transition to new owners.
PROPERTY
The Practice premises covers some 120 sq. mts of leasehold commercial/retail space & offers cars parking for staff & doctors at the rear. Lease is in place until end of 2021 with two @ five year options thereafter. The landlord would be happy to issue a new longer lease and options, if required. The practice is made up of: a large waiting area/reception room, 3 Consulting Rooms, a Treatment room, large storage room, (could be another Consult Room), a staff/coffee area and toilets.
FINANCIAL
It is a mixed billing practice with a predomination of private billing. Only children under 16 years are bulk billed. Pensioners are charged reduced rates. Annualised patient numbers are approx 4400 with annual revenue in the vicinity of $350k.
CLINICAL SERVICES
All aspects of broad based general practice work is covered, however no specific clinics such as skin cancer, cosmetic etc. are done by any of the doctors. There are no allied health, specialist or diagnostic services on site.
ADMINISTRATION
The medical practice is fully paperless, using Best Practice. Accreditation is in place with AGPAL until 2022. Consulting hours are limited to Monday to Friday. Admin staff consist of three part-time receptionists. A RN nurse attends the practice once a month to order materials and drugs.
