There is main road access to both Chatswood and the City nearby. The principal is happy to remain at the practice for at least three years to ensure a smooth handover.
PROPERTY
The premises are owned outright by the principal and comprises 160 sqm of floor space, occupying the ground floor. The principal is happy to offer a 5 year lease with 5 year options thereafter. The practice was fully refurbished 7 years ago and contains; 3-4 consulting rooms, a treatment room, large waiting room and reception. Pathology is located in-house.
FINANCIAL
The medical practice is predominantly bulk billing but with some private fees being charged. Patient numbers over the last 12 months have averaged 80-100 per day. Revenue for the 2019 financial year was $1,268,000.
CLINICAL SERVICES
Broad based general practice with no specific clinics being run. Pathology services are available 4 mornings per week. A psychologist consults from the rooms on a part time basis.
ADMINISTRATION
The surgery conducts 10 consulting sessions per week between Monday and Saturday morning. It is closed on Thursday afternoons. The practice is fully computerised, using Best Practice and Pracsoft. It is AGPAL accredited through to July 2020. We understand the practice employs 4 excellent admin and reception staff, on a part time basis. The principal’s wife also works at reception part time. The practice does not have a nurse.
