Locum Dates: 2-4 week locum from 1st January 2022
The remote community of Wudinna in the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia have recently lost their permanent doctor after 14 years.
An ongoing fly in fly out (FIFO) locum opportunity or permanent position exists for a GP with ED experience to take over from the beginning of January 2022. Work involves a normal GP day clinic and also 24/7 ED cover at the local hospital. Wudinna hospital has 4 acute beds and an aged care lodge of some 10 beds.
Wudinna is a small township (population 550) on the Eyre Highway, some 2 hours drive from Ceduna and 570km North West of Adelaide.
Remuneration will be $2,500/day or $17,500 per week with no expenses. Accommodation, return flights and a car will be provided.
A permanent position is available or the option of FIFO locum on a 2-4 week rotational basis.
