Newport Medical Dental has a vacancy for a permanent General Practitioner in our medical & dental practice in the centre of Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Our medical practice is ideally located within a large, modern premises, next door to a pharmacy, in the main shopping strip of Newport, with shops, restaurants, cafes and the beach all within an easy walking distance. We are a broad-based general practice offering medical, dental & cosmetic services. With the current level of unmet patient demand in Newport there is significant scope for us to expand our medical services with the addition of a full time or part time GP.
Newport Medical Dental is a combined medical and dental practice that has been established in the centre of Newport since 2014. The practice has a strong patient following and is booked out constantly. Given that Newport has a shortage of doctors and a high level of unmet patient demand, we believe there is significant scope for us to expand our medical services. We have the capacity to accommodate up to 5 GPs over time and would be looking for a VR GP to join us, ideally on a full-time basis. With the current level of patient demand we are confident of filling the doctor’s schedule within a month of commencement. We have a large, modern premises with 5 consulting rooms, 1 bed treatment room for minor procedures, conference facilities, a staff room, onsite staff parking & disabled access.
