GP ADVERTISEMENT GUIDE
The following is a guide to completing your Advertisement. Once you have submitted your vacancy details we will create your advertisement page and email you the link for your review. There will be plenty of opportunity to revise your text before you ad goes live.
NAME OF SURGERY
Please provide the name of your surgery.
Please provide relevant contact details so prospective doctors can get in touch with you. This includes your contact name, surgery phone number, mobile number, email address etc.
Please provide your surgery website address. For accuracy please open your website in your browser and copy the exact address.
Please provide your surgery street address.
What is your Health Workforce classification according to Doctor Connect? What is your ASGS RA No? Are you in an area of need? Are you classified as a DPA (Distribution Priority Area)?
Broadly describe your surgery, its history, ethos, number of years in business, ownership, number of doctors, location, proximity to shopping or business centres, reputation in the community, proximity to hospitals & specialists, level of patient demand etc.
Describe the role you are seeking to fill including any desired skills or interests, preferred consulting hours, contract terms, remuneration, starting date, incentives offered etc.
Briefly describe your surgery layout such as number of consulting rooms, treatment rooms, allied health rooms, specialist rooms, any onsite pathology & radiology, cosmetic or procedural rooms, staff rooms, onsite parking, disabled access.
Please provide an overview of your clinical services including any special clinics, cosmetic, allied health, specialists, pathology, Xray, dental.
Please provide details of your consulting hours, number of doctors working each day, appointment schedules, computer systems and accreditation. Is your surgery in an Area of Need or have DPA status?
Please describe your treatment room facilities such as number of beds, any procedural rooms, any specialized equipment, number of nurses on duty, their skills and duties.
Please describe your billing arrangements. Are you private, bulk or mixed billing? What do you charge for a standard consultation?
