Westbury Doctors Surgery have a permanent General Practitioner position available. We are based in the quaint little Georgian Village of Westbury which is a well known tourist destination and only a short drive from Launceston.
Westbury Doctors Surgery is part of the Advanced Rural Health group of surgeries. We leverage from having a wide spread coverage of health services and knowledge sharing across Tasmania. The group owns four surgeries based in rural areas of Tasmania. All surgeries are AGPAL accredited. Well supported by the local communities, with large following from patients. Some of our surgeries are training practices. The principal GP is a president of Musculoskeletal Medicine of Australia, therefore our surgeries will be of a great benefit to a GP who wants to learn more about management of chronic conditions.
The Westbury Doctors Surgery has been part of the group since 2014. In 2016 the building was extended and remodelled. The surgery is based in a small town, which is around 30 minuites drive from a major airport, hospital and the city of Launceston.
